FAQ
You have unanswered questions about wedding photography or would you like to know more about me? No problem at all!
On this page I have compiled all the answers that can help you.

Questions about working with me
1. Where can I be booked?
I'm based in Forchheim, Upper Franconia, but you can book me anywhere in the world, provided you cover my travel expenses and contact me several months in advance so I can plan and organize everything. (Spontaneous requests are always welcome, of course.)
2. How does the booking process work?
You can send me an inquiry via the contact form or info@katinaraschke.com. Afterwards, we'll schedule a phone appointment to discuss all the basics and answer any questions you may have. Once we've agreed on everything, I'll send you a contract that includes all the agreed-upon details.
In the time leading up to your wedding, I'm always available for questions or anything else you may need. If time and location allows, we will meet a few days beforehand at your venue to see the lighting conditions and check where we can take pictures, so that we waste as little time as possible with that on the day itself.
And on the big day, you have fun and I'll capture it as best I can :)
3. Will my pictures be published online?
That depends entirely on you; I generally only publish pictures of customers who have given me their written permission.
4. What technical equipment do I have?
I photograph with a Canon EOS R6 and a Canon EOS R6 Mark II, so I always have a backup camera in case of an emergency. This also gives me the option of using two different lenses simultaneously to capture the scene from multiple perspectives.
5. Why should I book a professional photographer when I can ask someone from my circle of friends or relatives?
It's always a good idea to book a photographer, and here's why: You won't have to worry about a moment not being captured beautifully because a friend or acquaintance who's there as a guest was chatting or distracted. As a photographer, it is my job is to showcase you in the best possible light and capture moments and emotions for eternity. That's my mission for the day, which is what sets me apart from invited guests. You're there to have fun without a care in the world, and I'm there to capture it.
There's nothing wrong at all with having friends or relatives take your photos; at the end of the day, it all comes down to your expectations.
